OAU Suspends Academic Activities

The Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU has suspended academic activities over the new coronavirus disease, known as Covid-19.


In line with the directive of the Federal Government that all Federal Tertiary Institutions be closed, in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Vice-Chancellor on behalf of the Senate has directed that the University be closed from Monday, 23rd March 2020 till further notice.

Consequently, all students are hereby directed to vacate their Halls of Residence and the University premises not later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, 23rd March 2020.

However, the staff of the University is expected to be at their respective duty posts.
